WHO WE ARE
Members of the Estrella Business Networking Group are highly recommended business owners that are dedicated to providing services to the community of Estrella, located in Goodyear, AZ. The members are either residents here, or have a storefront within Estrella. Our membership is comprised of diversified businesses, and all members must be either the owner of the business they are representing, or an independent contractor. ADVERTISING
The Estrella Business Group reaches out to fellow residents through participation in community events; advertising in Up The Hill magazine (owned by group members Al & Catherine Uretsky) and the My Hometown Estrella newspaper; social media and the distribution of a brochure listing our business owners. Brochures can be found at the information desks at the Starpointe Residents Club, CantaMia, and the Estrella Information Center, as well as multiple local retailers. The members that have brochures available in their shops include our local West USA Realty Estrella Branch (co-owned by Martin Sears, Terry Wilson and Todd Kortright) and Oasis Bagels (owned by Carol Risano). Our website was created and is hosted by MySmartBlog.com (owned by group member Mikel Erdman).
MEMBERSHIP
The group meets at the Starpointe Residents Club on the first Tuesday of each month from 8AM-9AM to network, learn about each other’s businesses, discuss group happenings and plan our involvement in upcoming events. Each month, one of the members gives a presentation on their business so we can learn more about them, and ultimately be able to refer more business to each other. Membership dues of $100 are paid annually in July, and membership dues for joining the group during the year are prorated accordingly. Members can choose to join for six months for $60 instead of a full year. Visitors are welcome to attend two meetings before deciding if they would like to join. This is not an exclusive category group, so we allow more than one business owner per category. Only business owners that reside within Estrella, businesses that have a storefront within Estrella or businesses that focus primarily on servicing Estrella residents may be considered for membership of the group at this time.
